The establishment of the Super Intelligence Task Force marks a significant policy shift toward centralized federal coordination on superintelligence governance in the United States. By bringing together leadership from the National Intelligence Director, FTC, DoD, and OPM, this initiative aims to align regulatory efforts across critical infrastructure and public sectors with rapid AI development. This move underscores the increasing recognition of superintelligence as a national priority requiring cross-agency oversight rather than fragmented state-level responses.
