IonQ received four Best Paper Awards ahead of IEEE Quantum Week 2026, recognized among 857 global submissions for breakthroughs in ai, hybrid computing, and life sciences. The company’s four winning papers represent a significant portion of the conference’s 27 Best Paper honors, selected from global research submissions.

IonQ secured four of the 27 Best Paper Awards at IEEE Quantum Week 2026, representing 15.0% of the total honors given at the premier international quantum computing conference. Selected from 857 research submissions from around the world, the awards recognize IonQ’s collaborative work with partners including NVIDIA, Synopsys, and Oak Ridge National Laboratory, demonstrating advances in areas from artificial intelligence to protein folding, the company says. “Winning four Best Paper awards across distinct technical tracks reflects how IonQ is not just engineering world-class hardware, but also leading the industry in demonstrating practical, real-world utility,” said Martin Roetteler, IonQ’s Vice President of Quantum Applications R&D. These winning projects highlight the…
