Infleqtion and Cisco are advancing distributed quantum computing by integrating neutral-atom platforms with photonic networking architectures to scale beyond isolated devices. This collaboration addresses a critical bottleneck in the field, shifting focus from increasing single-qubit coherence times to building resilient, interconnected quantum networks capable of broader applications. The partnership represents a strategic move toward the "quantum internet," where networking protocols are essential for unlocking the full potential of quantum capabilities.
