This partnership marks a strategic shift from theoretical exploration to applied quantum solutions, targeting high-impact sectors like medicine and finance through hybrid quantum-classical algorithms. By establishing Siam Quantum Square as a coordination hub, the collaboration aims to cultivate local expertise and move Thailand beyond being merely a consumer of existing quantum technologies. The initiative also includes personnel exchanges with KAIST to build a sustainable pipeline of talent for the region's quantum ecosystem.

Chulalongkorn University has signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Qunova Computing for cooperation on quantum computing research and applications. The agreement establishes collaboration through jointly organised seminars, the exchange of scientists and staff, and joint research projects in quantum computing and related fields, with Siam Quantum Square (SQ²) acting as the University’s principal coordinator.

Chulalongkorn University has entered a three-year research collaboration with Qunova Computing, aiming to apply quantum technology to challenges in medicine, the physical sciences, and finance. The partnership, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding, follows a workshop where researchers from Qunova and the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology presented hybrid quantum-classical algorithms. “Thailand should not merely be a user…
