GitHub has integrated native support for `ACCESSIBILITY.md` files to provide a standardized location for documenting accessibility goals, barriers, and reporting processes within software repositories. By treating accessibility documentation as first-class metadata, GitHub reinforces the importance of inclusive design directly into the development workflow.
