Analysts: TSMC Q3 Net Profit Expected to Surge 65% YoY, Setting Record for Sixth Consecutive Quarter
TSMC, the world's largest advanced AI chip foundry, will release its third-quarter earnings report this Thursday. Driven by the AI boom, analysts widely expect TSMC to post record-breaking profits for the sixth consecutive quarter. According to LSEG SmartEstimate aggregating forecasts from 16 analysts, TSMC's Q3 net profit is projected to jump 65% year-over-year to NT$746.3 billion (approximately $23.4 billion). If net profit exceeds NT$706.56 billion, the company will once again set a new single-quarter record and achieve profit growth for 11 consecutive quarters. Last Thursday, preliminary data released by TSMC showed Q3 revenue of NT$1.49 trillion (approximately $46.7 billion), a 51% increase year-over-year that surpassed market expectations and reached an all-time high.
