48 Hours, Connections Made Between the Dots: A Look Back at the 2026 Suke Hackathon

From October 30 to November 1, 200 creators from 50 cities and more than 60 schools came to Suzhou with their own ideas. After 48 hours, more than 200 participants had formed teams, built their projects, and presented them, producing 64 projects on site. 2026 Suke Hackathon From preparation to the event itself, we wanted to do more than run a hackathon. Beyond giving people a place to write code and build products, we also hoped to give creators a chance to get to know one another, exchange ideas, and engage with real-world technology applications. Looking back, many of the things that happened in those 48 hours may have been more interesting than we first imagined. Let's start with getting to know one another. For this event, we designed the participant badges as puzzle pieces. Four pieces fit together to form a complete square. We hope everyone can find their own piece of the puzzle here. When two people were matched, their wristbands lit up. This was the Suke Hackathon's team-up signal: Hey, maybe you two should get to know each other. 2026 Suke Hackathon on site 2026 Suke Hackathon on site The wristbands make the introduction, and the rest is up to you. It wasn't all code. On October 31, Halloween coincided with the autumn harvest of Suzhou hairy crabs, so we decided to host a special "Crab Hackathon." 2026 Suke Hackathon on site 2026 Suke Hackathon on site No treat, no trick?
