2026 China Import and Export Fair Design Innovation Awards Announced; Zhangxue Motorcycle Wins Supreme Gold

According to the China Foreign Trade Center, the list of winners for the 2026 China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) Design Innovation Award (CF Award) has been released. A total of 222 products from 174 enterprises received awards, with Zhangxue Motorcycle's 820RR winning the Supreme Gold CF Award. Another product to receive the Supreme Gold is the Zhixun Capsule Robot Gastrointestinal Endoscopy System. The award-winning products will be showcased during the 140th Canton Fair. The awarded products exhibit three key characteristics: First, a focus on innovation and new quality productive forces. Winners are concentrated among technology-driven enterprises. From the Supreme Gold winners Zhangxue Motorcycle 820RR and Zhixun Capsule Robot Gastrointestinal Endoscopy System to cutting-edge products like brain-computer interface rehabilitation systems and exoskeleton robots, these highlights demonstrate the trend of high-end manufacturing innovation. Second, an upgrade towards intelligence with strong development in AI-powered products. Among the awarded products, 32% are smart devices. Products such as AI glasses, intelligent meeting terminals, and smart health and wellness equipment cover scenarios including home, office, medical, and outdoor use. Third, a shift towards green sustainability across the entire value chain. Green concepts permeate the product research, design, and production processes. Green products account for 44% of the winners. New energy applications such as photovoltaic curtain walls and integrated power generation energy-saving panels, along with material innovations like sugarcane paper and bio-based fabrics, indicate a deepening commitment to green development. Additionally, the 140th Canton Fair Product Design Trade Promotion Center (PDC) will gather high-quality design institutions from around the world. The event features 101 design institutions from six countries—United Kingdom, Italy, Netherlands, Greece, Turkey, and South Korea—as well as Taiwan and mainland China. For the first time, research and design institutions specializing in acoustic new materials, battery new energy technologies, and technology intermediaries are being introduced to empower Chinese manufacturing upgrades through design innovation.
